American Speed Company has recently relocated to the historic Burroughs Building and Campus. Designed by American industrial architect Albert Kahn, construction for the Burroughs Building started in 1937. By 1938, this Plymouth, Michigan manufacturing facility was completed and occupied by the Burroughs Adding Machine Company. The property was purchased in 2016 and modern renovations quickly pursued. The original brick exterior, wood floors, concrete pillars and massive I-Beams were all left intact. The large, open floor space was divided into modern suites with industrial styling (design assistance from Push Design - a Detroit based architecture and design firm). The campus quickly became headquarters for companies such as Rivian (electric adventure vehicles), Robotire, United Road, Signal X Technologies, Ford's Garage, and many more.
